Meditation for Beginners with Becca Pronchick

by Lyndi

Would you like to learn how to quiet your mind, find more peace and get in touch with your intuition? Sounds good to me. I’ve been learning a little bit more about meditation and can see the benefits in practicing the ancient tradition. I’ve always had quiet time or journal time with some studying of spiritual works, but wondered what was different with meditation. I understand it helps reduce stress and science is confirming that, with gadgets like the emWave. Recently I met a very nice woman who knows all about meditation and had the privilege to interview her.

Yummm…meditation in stillness. Just to stop. That’s my favorite. I’ve noticed everyone likes to talk about the benefits and I suppose there are, but for me it’s about being here, now. There is something very real about dropping all stories, plans, thoughts–though our minds are like wild horses to drop into the stillness takes patience and practice. I definitely recommend it!!
